Outstanding
My group of friends had an outstanding viusut at the Weeping Willow. This is one of the BEst Airbnb's I have ever stayed at. Sleeping arrangements are fantastic. And Marinao filled the backyard with many fun lawn games. The deck has excellent grills and a nice fire place. Across the street is access to a soccer field and tennis courts, and you are a quick drive from a beautiful hike or ski outing. I could not recommend this place more highly, and we hope to be back soon.

Unique old vibe
Stayed the night with a group of friends, and we had a great time. The house has a very unique old vibe with secret stairs and antiques. Fe;t there was plenty to discover about the house if we'd spent more than one evening. Cooking was fun, lots of pans and spices and dishes available for very modern kitchen. We already feeling the house call us back thinking of making an annual trip.

Mariano is incredible. He was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. He is also flexible when he can be, as he was with our reservation, The place was very clean and had all the necessities fofr our stay. The towels per guest was a very nice touch! If you are traveling with a large group, this is the place to book! It has different family rooms to gather, and a welcomig dinning room table to enjoy a nice meal with your family and friends. The house is very easy to find, even at night, as Mariano has provided a lovely sign and lit entry way. This home hold a lot of charm inside and out, not to mention he views this time of year! Thank you Mariano for everthing! My firends are redy to go back.

Cool unique place
Cool unique place. If you really maximize the amount of people staying, the price is outrageously good. Charming spot that you can tell is a family home, rather than a generic Airbnb home.

Wow, what a magical place!
Wow what a magical place! Mariano's home is spacious, gorgeous and was a treat to stay at. I, along with other friends stayed at his home as we were attending a wedding in the area. We enjoyed his house so much we were late to most of the weekend events. Great home for a large group seeking comfort and relaxation in Upstate New York.

Perfect for a weekend getaway
House is beautiful and very well kept. All the amenities are available and there is a nice front and back porch. It can accommodate many people and its just an amazing place. We are from the City, so to get away to Weeping willow for a weekend is a well needed and enjoyable treat. There is a huge park area directly across the street and a very large back yard. You owe it to yourself to stay there even if for a weekend. I can almost guarantee you will want to go back!!

Awesome place
This place is good for a large group! Everything is well-organized and prepared.
Me and my group spent awesome time here. Also the neighborhood is safe and quiet! Also the ski mountain is near by, so it would not take a long time to get there. Definitely recommend here!!

Wonderfully large property, perfect for families.
Exceptionally large property with tons of space for families and children. Central located in Fleischmann's with a nice park right across the street. Good common spaces for large families, and a large functional kitchen with excellent wares. Had a great time, thank you!

Cozy, clean, ample space at a great price
My family and I, very much enjoyed our recent stay at Weeping Willow. It was like we had all the amenities that we enjoy back home, from books, to board games, cards, TV... with plenty of comfort and hospitality. The location is also great because it's so close to Belleayre Ski Center and other area attractions.

Our Second Stay
I booked the Weeping Willow for a second time for our yearly Belleayre Ski trip. There is plenty of room to spread out for many families to share. We have several teen boys and the attic space is perfect for them. The house is a good value and has all the pots, pans etc that you need to cook all meals in house. This is convenient as there are no restaurants within winter walking distance or that can properly accommodate a large crowd. This is fine for us because we would all rather pitch in and cook together and have a good drink and not have to drive anywhere after skiing. It is so much better to just hang out with good friends and good wine! We were also able to bring our dogs and that was a nice plus. The Owner is very easy to get in touch with and we plan to rent it again next year.
Perfect place for a large family gathering
Enjoyed our stay in this large restored home. The kitchen was very well equipped, absolutely everything you need to prepared any type of meal. Loved the back deck with the fire pit and plenty of seating. Easy to find, across the street from a large park walking distance to a local restaurant that offered a nice variety of sandwiches, pizza and dinners. The house was clean with lots of room to spread out.
PERFECT AUTUMNAL CATSKILLS WEEKEND
This is not my first time staying at Weeping Willow Getaway. In fact, my family comes 2-3 times per year because it is such a wonderful home, complete with all the creature comforts of our own homes. It also fits SO MANY PEOPLE it cannot be beat in this region. Period. I could wax on and on about little details that the owner Mariano has taken care to ensure: the 100% Egyptian Cotton towels, the exquisite, airy comforters for every bed, the informal and formal plates he offers... but this review is to describe the BEST AUTUMNAL CATSKILLS WEEKEND.
October 8-9, 2016 was the "Taste of the Catskills" fair in Delhi, NY. About a half hour's drive from Fleischmanns, it passes through the hamlet of Andes (lovely, quaint) and through Delhi town center, it's own adorable and classic Catskills town. For a $10 per adult entrance fee (*kids <5 free), it showcased 15+ food vendors from the region, offered dozens of arts and crafts workshops, toys and games for children, including a small hay maze complete with flashlights and headlamps, bounce houses galore (small extra fee), free lawn games (corn hole, giant Jenga, giant Yahtzee, hula hoops, etc.) all in the splendor of the gorgeous leaves of the Catskill Mountain Region. The Farm Olympics were the BEST-- we laughed our butts off and have memories for a lifetime!
Second only to the fun we had, was knowing that we could come "home" to Weeping Willow Getaway and lounge on the back porch by the firepit with a glass of wine and grill on the state of the art smoker/barbecue grill (charcoal OR gas--your choice!). My family loves this house so much we have begun to think of it as our own. Thanks to Mariano and his family for keeping it updated, clean, and always ready for our return!

Beautiful mansion in Fleischmanns.
We rented Mariano's beautiful home for our wedding weekend, for our very best friends to stay. They were so very comfortable. Mariano is an absolute pleasure to do business with - he shared many helpful and endearing pointers for wedding services in the area, and overall is just a really nice guy. THANK YOU MARIANO!

Comfort and Charm
This property is a definite "Let's do it again!" The perfect venue for large family gatherings for those who just want to relax and have fun. The owner pays attention to detail and if you need it, it's there. Best feature is the back deck - great for hanging out on moonlit starry nights. Lovely windchimes add musical backdrop to perfect evenings.

Large, well stocked home
The Weeping Willow is a beautiful, well maintained home that is perfect for a large group. The kitchen is well stocked and the large back deck is perfect for parties. There are even two grills! Other than the kitchen, which is quite new, it is furnished in traditional Victorian decor and furnishings. They are a bit warn and dark for my taste, but this is the style of the home. The beds are comfortable and the linens are new. The bathrooms are a bit outdated and the one sink on the 3rd floor wasn't usable due to a major leak, but I'm sure it will be fixed soon. We were there during a hot stretch in July and the 3rd floor exhaust fan helped cool things off. The town of Fleischmanns seemed to be in very hard times. Many large homes were in poor condition and several were for sale. It is sad because this house stands out.

Peaceful, tranquil and beautiful
We spend the weekend at Weeping Willow. The weather was beautiful. there is a supermarket and a cvs about 10 minutes away in Margaretville which is very convenient. The house is beautiful. I sat out one morning and just enjoyed the beautiful trees, mountainside and all the different bird sounds.

Roomy Victorian, Close to Skiing
7 adults and 5 boys stayed for a long weekend of skiing and hanging out. The Weeping Willow has much more room than past places which we have rented in the area. More beds than our large group even needed and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is very well appointed and we easily made all of our meals there. This is a good thing as there is nothing to the deserted town of Fleishmans. But this saved us a lot of money. The house is less than 10 minutes driving to Bellayre Mountain. We definitely plan on renting again next year.
Fantastic Victorian for a Large Group
Stayed here with our large, extended family for a ski getaway over the President's Day Weekend. One of the best ski houses we've ever rented. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 3 families with kids. Well-equipped kitchen includes top-tier appliances, huge quantities of flatware, plates, and glasses, and chef-quality cooking tools. Best of all, the owner is extremely helpful and easy to work with.

The Best There Is
Another amazing annual trip to Weeping Willow! What more is there to say about this amazing property that hasn't been said? Perfect access to Belleayre Mountain, an unbeatable charm inside, and majestic surroundings. There's simply no place better for a Catskills escape.
WE WILL BE BACK!

Weeping Willow is a great place for a large group
Weeping Willow was listed as providing beds for 22 people. In actuality, if every bed, crib and futon had been used, it could have accommodated 24! It was perfect for our group, which consisted of four couples, each having their own room on the second floor, and lots of singles on the third floor. It's hard to tell from the description listed exactly what the third floor is like--it has two private bedrooms with double beds, so couples could be in there. The more open loft area includes six single beds (plus a roll-away and an under-the-bed trundle if needed.) That area worked perfectly for a group of kids under 12. It was like a big sleepover for a group of kids that get along great. The bathroom on the third floor is large, and the three bathrooms on the second floor and half bath on the first floor provided sufficient bathrooms for a large group.
The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with great appliances and plenty of counter space. A large refrigerator in the kitchen is also complimented by a second frig in the dining room--so plenty of room for food storage. There are two large TV's on the first floor that allow a kids' room for cartoons or movies while the adults are watching their football game in the other room. There were lots of movies available. There is plenty of couch space plus floor cushions to keep everyone comfortable.
The house is rugged, so the parents of the young children didn't feel worried about their kids running through the house. Directly across the street from the house is a big park with a great playground for kids. They took advantage of that. Up the road a bit is a rec center that allows visitors access to a pool for $5 for kids and $10 for adults for the day. We planned on doing that, but the kids were having fun and we didn't need the extra activity.
Our event was a winter wedding. The weather was such that we didn't have opportunity to enjoy the yard, which looks ample. It was easy to find our way there and nice to have a house that was not on one of the mountain roads that got a bit treacherous during the storm at the end of our weekend. You can count on easy access. The home owner was very communicative and helpful in both preparing for our weekend and in the final steps for departure. He even offered an early check-in as no one else was in the house just prior to our being there. It was nice to find the beds all made and plenty of nice soft towels in each room ready for our use.
Great value in a welcoming small village setting
My wife and I celebrated our wedding at Weeping Willow and we had a wonderful time during our special weekend. The owners were very accommodating in as much as we needed to set up three tents in advance of the wedding and some trees in the rear had to be manually trimmed. Weeping Willow is very large and comfortable home with a modern kitchen and lots of bedrooms for our bridal party. One of the most important things for us was the large and rear yard that accommodated several tents for dancing and a 10 piece band. There was plenty of room and we were able have the wedding catered and the rear deck served as our bar area. Being knowledgeable of the area, the owners recommended additional sites for our NYC guests.
Our fond memories of the wedding induced us to return with family and guest for an extended Thanksgiving weekend where we relived our wedding memories all over again. The pre-winter season is very different than the mid summer season. The crisp air of November, with some snow ib tge mountaintops changed the feel of the town and the fire place inside and the chiminea outside got plenty of use. There is something very special about Weeping Willow and I am happy to recommend to anyone.

Weeping Willow is a perfect fall getaway
This spacious charming painted lady provides comfortable accommodations for a large group or several families! Several bedrooms w baths for privacy and very pretty. This is such a great place
We continue to visit Weeping Willow because it is such a great place to visit. I have lost count of the times we have rented and each time we leave, everyone is making plans to come back. The house has such a great set up, you can enjoy the premises with a few people or a lot - everything you need is found in the house, and it is so comfortable. There is a beautiful open field park and creek right across the street, and activities not too far away. The last time we visited, we went zip lining and tubing in the summer - and there is a sky resort about 5 minutes away - but we just enjoy being in this beautiful victorian house. Coming from the City, it is such a welcomed change - If your bringing kids, they will certainly have a ball also. It is definitely a must to rent - i can guarantee you will go back! You owe it to yourself to visit!!!!

Perfect for a weekend away with large group
Great house, great amenities, responsive owner. Kitchen was stocked with new appliances and everything we could need for cooking, the third floor open area was great for kids, and loved that the house was across the street from a beautiful park. Super easy check-in and check-out. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Magical Wedding Venue
We just had our daughter's wedding at Weeping Willow Getaway. The house is over 100 years old, so of course it is quirky and has some flaws, which for the most part, simply added to the charm. Whenever my daughter had questions or requests (prior to and on arrival), the owner was responsive and gracious. Our families stayed in the house for the entire weekend. We and our guests (74 of them on the day of the wedding) had a wonderful time, enjoying the grounds, including the front porch, the deck, the 2 fire pits, lazy hammocks, and the park across the street. The kitchen very adequately accommodated the professional chef and his assistant who were with us for most of the weekend. Most importantly, the wooded hill behind the house made a perfect backdrop for the wedding ceremony, which was followed by an open air reception near the weeping willow tree. We also held the rehearsal picnic on the lawn the day before the wedding and the house was large and comfortable enough to accommodate us during an evening rain shower and the historical Triple Crown event. We all agree, it was a perfectly magical weekend. Thank you, Mariano, for opening your lovely home to us on this very special occasion.
